Happy New Year, and all that Jazz
Hey everyone, so its a new year and a new lease on life. Things have been crazy for 2009, as I have a little baby girl now who has been consuming most of my time (and rightfully so!). So in order to keep this site updated, I am looking for an intern of sorts. Someone who can do data entry, entering eggs that are submitted via email and the forums, onto the site (adding all relative information, including cover art). I will of course provide all training (I have a nice document outlining the whole process), and ideally I would offer some monetary compensation, but at the moment, all I can offer is your name in lights, well, your name posted on the website as a member of the team. Heck, if you have a class in school that requires you doing some outside work, I may even be able to qualify this for you, I've done that in the past for some folks. In any event, use the contact form, or the forums to reach me if you have an interest. And once again, Happy New Year all!

Some updates
I've been slacking again, mostly due to economic conditions (working a lot, my wife lost her job, etc. etc. etc..) I just want all faithful visitors to know I am still here! In related news, I am looking at the potential to sell the site/merge with a partner site. This is just in the preliminary stages, having a few discussions with people to see what makes sense. This site is my baby, and I don't take these things lightly! So that's the update. Now to brace myself for about a foot of snow here on Long Island tonight!

Amazon Black Friday Voting is Open!
Amazon has been doing this for a few years now. Offering amazingly low prices (and I mean LOW) on 3 items per week, and you vote on the item you want. The item that gets the most votes is the item sold and emails are sent at random to the 1000 or so people (more or less depending on quantity of that item). I got one of the items last year, not the one I was really looking to get, but a steal nonetheless!
